Congratulations to the following girls who have now qualified as Young Netball Organisers after attending a full day course at Fenton Manor on Thursday 8th October.

• Amy Flint

The course is a National Governing Body Award from the All England Netball Association.

They will now go into our cluster primary schools to coach Year 5 & 6 girls and boys in High 5 netball. In January they will also take on officiating and support roles in our Thistley Hough Cluster competition, North Stoke Partnership tournament. In February they also have the opportunity to be chosen to officiate at the Stoke City and then the Staffordshire County Tournament in March.

Congratulations to Rachel Ball from Year 9 who competed in the first Stoke North Cross-country meeting on Tuesday 22nd September at Thistley Hough High School. Rachel ran a great race finishing in a very strong 2nd place in the U14 category.

The second meeting was on Tuesday 6th October at Haywood High School. Well done also to Kirsty Green from Year 8 who demonstrated great determination running against girls who were primarily in Year 9, finishing in 20th place.
